Happy new year!

Probeersels.

My last post is a while ago. It seems as if I spending the Christmas holidays doing absolutely nothing useful. Which is not the thing. Almost the whole Storm quilt is ready. I didn’t mean to make something big but ended with a size 1.05 x 1.05 meter. I just have to finish the border and the hanging sleeve. As I always intend with these kind of small jobs, that work has been left for some time. Next week we will meet with the Dutch Bag Ladies, so it should be finished by then.
Today I went for a walk through the snow with the dog. In my opinion I may stay until the end of March, immediately followed by spring. It always surprises me that the whole country turns upside down when having a little bit of snow (several centimetres). In countries with loads of snow and for a longer period this is not the thing. Strange kind of people we Dutch.
As I already mentioned, Storm is ready but I think I will try to apply for a show so I’ll only show a detail. I find it annoying actually not to publish anything about a quilt when applying for a show. A little bit old fashioned. Doesn’t fit with this (internet) era.
Also did some small things, just trying some things.

I so much like what you do. I am looking closely at all the details I can see. Am wondering what the white bumpy pieces are from? Love the tulle over white...all the many visable layers too. The map!
I see much and want to see more.
Wondering why you can't show the whole thing before it goes into a show?
