Stamps again

Stempels met diepte stap voor stap
Gisteren en vandaag lekker zitten rommelen met stempels, met onderstaand resultaat. Misschien is deze manier van stempels maken al veel eerder uitgevonden en nooit bij mij aangekomen maar vandaag heb ik het uitgevonden!

I made some stamps yesterday and today, you can see the result underneath. Maybe this way of making stamps was already invented by someone, but it didn’t land in my place. Today I invented this!

1. Nodig:
2 plaatjes acrylglas (uit de bouwmarkt) iets groter dan je afbeelding
1 zwart wit kopie van je afbeelding
2 zwart wit kopieën van je afbeelding in spiegelbeeld
1 stukje foam van dezelfde maat als je acrylglas
Dubbelzijdig tapijtplakband.

1. Requirements:
2 sheets of acrylic glass
1 black and white copy of your picture
2 mirrored black and white copies of your picture
1 piece of foam the size of the acrylic glass
Double sided tapestry tape

2. Plak je foam helemaal af met dubbelzijdig plakband en plak het je afbeelding op het beschermpapier van het tapijtband
Tape de stukjes acrylglas met schilderstape op de spiegelbeelden van de afbeeldingen zodat het niet meer kan verschuiven..

2. cover your foam sheet completely with tape. Glue the normal copy of your picture on the paper backing of the tapestry tape. Tape the pieces of acrylic glass with masking tape on the mirrored copies.

3. Knip de zwarte en witte delen van je afbeelding los. Plak de uitgeknipte zwarte delen op het acrylglas waarbij je de zwarte delen van de onderliggende afbeelding als voorbeeld gebruikt. Plak alle witte delen op het andere stukje acrylglas maar dan op de witte stukken van je afbeelding.

3. cut out the figures. Use the tapestry tape to stick the black parts on one of the acrylic panes and the white parts on the other one. Use the picture as guide.

4. Uiteindelijk ziet het er zo uit. Je kan ervoor kiezen om de achtergrond er ook op te plakken. In mijn voorbeeld heb ik dat niet gedaan.

5. En zo worden de afdrukken. Als je iets netter plakt dan ik komen de randen mooi tegen elkaar aan te liggen maar ik vind het zo eigenlijk ook wel mooi.
