Award and nominations

Het blijft prijzen regenen, awards in dit geval. Ik ben twee keer genomineerd voor ‘blog that brings me inspiration and makes me appreciate the blogosphere’ (Bedankt Laurence en Emmy) en een keer voor de Arte Y Pico award (Emmy).
Beide hebben ongeveer dezelfde insteek, je moet deze award doorgeven aan mensen met een weblog die jij zelf weer bewonderd. Probleem is dat de ene wel 10x doorgeven vereist en de Arte Y Pico award 5 stuks. Op zich lees ik aardig wat blogs en een aantal hiervan hebben de award zelf ook al gekregen. Ik vond het toch wel een tikkie lastig worden om 15 frisse, inspirerende blogs te nomineren, dus ik heb besloten om het bij 5 te houden.
Ook lastig is dat de blog die ik het vaakst lees, die van Emmy, juist degene is die me de award gegeven heeft dus die kan ik dan eigenlijk niet meer in mijn rijtje zetten.
OK, na wikken en wegen:
Jacqueline, omdat ze heel veel verschillende technieken op verrassende wijze gebruikt in een verscheidenheid aan werken. Corryna, omdat ze net als ik nog redelijk nieuw is in blogland en overal enthousiast over is. Dijanne Cevaal, vanwege haar prachtige lappen en de mooie dingen die ze daarvan maakt. Wietske Kluck, omdat ze lekker veel kleur gebruikt in haar werk. En tenslotte, toch lekker Emmy, omdat ze zo’n leuke en inspirerende vriendin is.

It keeps raining prizes, in this case awards. I have been nominated twice for ‘ blog that brings me inspiration and makes me appreciate the blogosphere’ (Bedankt Laurence en Emmy) one time for the Arte Y Pico award (Thanks again Emmy).
Both awards have a bit the same point of view, you have to give the award to people whom you admire. The problem is that the first type of award requires 10 weblogs to nominate and the Arte Y Pico award 5 times. I figured out that it’s a bit awkward to nominate 15 fresh and inspiring blogs so I decided to nominate 5. OK, after some deliberation this is my result.
Jacqueline, because she uses a lot of techniques in a surprising way in a lot of works. Corryna, because she is ever enthusiastic and as fresh as I am in blogland. Dijanne Cevaal for her beautiful fabric and the lovely things she makes of them. Wietske Kluck for her use of colours in her work and finally I'm going to do it anyway, Emmy because she is such a nice and inspiring friend.

1) You have to pick 5 blogs who deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material and contribution to the blogging community no matter what language.
2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to the blog to be visited by everyone.
3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and the link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4) Award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte Y Pico blog linked in my title) so everyone will know the origin of this award (cut and paste the info into your blog to make things easier)
