Opening Quilt National

Vandaag de opening van de Quilt National. Prachtige tentoonstelling met supermooi werk. En daar hangt mijn kleedje dan gewoon bij. Er hoort ook nog een prachtig boek bij. 

Just had the opening of the Quilt National exhibition. Beautiful exibition with stunning work. With mine there as well. It comes with a beautiful book.

Quiltexpo Veldhoven

Janine en ik kijken terug op een succesvol weekend in Veldhoven. We hebben erg leuke en enthousiaste reacties gehad op ons boek. ‘Prachtig uitgevoerd’, ‘Duidelijk geschreven’, ‘Kon niet stoppen met lezen’, ‘Eindelijk een boek in het Nederlands’ en ‘kan niet wachten om ermee te beginnen’ waren zo wat uitspraken die we verzamelden. In onze stand hadden we allemaal lapjes hangen die we gedurende het maken van het boek geproduceerd hebben. Zag er gezellig uit.

Janine and I had a successful weekend during the Quiltexpo in Veldhoven.  We had nice and enthusiastic reactions about our book. ‘Beautiful lay-out’, ‘Clearly written’, ‘Couldn’t stop reading’, ‘Finally a Dutch book’ and ‘can’t wait to get started’ where some of the sentences we heard during the weekend. Our stand was decorated with some of the fabric we painted during the production of the book. It looked nice.
